Rahat International Petroleum, Mining, and Industrial Company

The family’s business legacy dates back generations to 1931.
It represents a 94-year-old industrial and construction contracting heritage. Since 2020, with the establishment of a new company, the organization has pursued a modernized direction with defined strategic objectives.

Historic Activities (1931–1991)

Mr. Shokrollah Rahatvarnoosfaderani began working in 1931 in the stone industry, moving from Mahmoudabad, Isfahan, to Shoush, Tehran, on Fadaiyan-e-Islam Street.
He proudly started as a stone-cutting laborer and rose to become a producer of decorative construction stone.
His field expanded from construction contracting to major governmental projects, including:

  • The former Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade building on Somayeh Street

  • The original Chamber of Commerce building

  • Bank Melli Hospital

  • Sections of Azadi Square development

  • The original Plasco Commercial Complex

  • The embassies of the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and former Russia

  • Construction contractor of the old Parliament building

  • International export of building stone

International Operations (1991–2020)

In countries such as the UAE, USA, Canada, Japan, Norway, the UK, and Australia, the company acted as a provider of large-scale free capital investments, participating in major urban development, tower construction, industrial, and mining megaprojects, as well as collaborations with reputable private international banks.

Active Domestic Mines of the Company:

    1. Two white limestone mines with 99.5% purity and gold In Shahr-e Babak county, Dehaj region (Kerman province). Construction of production units: Granulated lime - Micronized lime - Industrial lime calcination - Hydrated lime - Lime milk - Asphalt plant.
    1. Two white limestone mines with 99.5% purity In Hajjiabad and Khamir counties (Hormozgan province). Construction of production units: Granulated lime - Micronized lime - Industrial lime calcination - Hydrated lime - Lime milk - Asphalt plant.
    1. Two copper and gold mines and the Chah Firoozeh well In Shahr-e Babak county (Kerman province)
      • Expansion of the 300,000-ton capacity Chah Firoozeh concentration plant
      • Babak Copper Iranian Cathode plant, Shahr-e Babak
    1. Dimension Stone Mines:
      • Three white, pink, and green marble mines in the Urmia region (West Azerbaijan province)
      • Two white and green marble mines in the Shahzadeh Abbas region, Rafsanjan (Kerman province)
      • One white chocolate marble and brown Traonyx mine in the Anar region, Rafsanjan county (Kerman province)
      • One patterned black Porcelain stone (China stone) mine in the Sirjan region (Kerman province)
      • One Golden Black marble mine with gold veins in the Sirjan region (Kerman province)
      • Two white Porcelain stone (China stone) mines with a blue tint in the Neyriz region (Fars province)
      Construction of the most high-tech dimension stone cutting factory equipped with Italian machinery + production of epoxy resin liquid, diamond wire, epoxy resin mesh, stone surface polish, and diamond segments, in the Qeshm Free Trade-Industrial Zone (Hormozgan province).
    1. Three manganese, chromite, and magnesite mines In the Koosha Hajjiabad region (Hormozgan province). Construction of production units: Ferrochrome - Ferromanganese - Copper and gold flotation to concentrate, gold and silver bullion, and separation of key soil elements - Construction of an alumina and aluminum plant for final product manufacturing in the Qeshm region (Hormozgan province).
    1. Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery, Persian Gulf Star Refinery, and Qeshm Refinery In the Bandar Abbas region (Hormozgan province) Production lines: Euro VI diesel - Euro VI gasoline - Jet fuel, etc.
    1. Construction of upstream oil refining units For a capacity of 12 million barrels of oil per 24 hours - Oil pipeline - Construction of an oil refinery with a capacity of 10 million barrels per 24 hours for all oil derivatives in the Larak Island or Qeshm region (Hormozgan province) + construction of necessary port terminals.
  1. Establishment of ship refueling (bunkering) and maritime services In the Chabahar Pasabandar region (Sistan and Baluchestan province) + construction of necessary port terminals.
